Personality: Akiko is portrayed as being very curious. She's often seen daydreaming. Akiko is well mannered, polite, courteous to all, (high or low), mature, loving as a dog and gentle as a fawn, trustful, ready to accept the wildest impossibilities that only dreamers know, and has an elegance and gentleness of a young woman. She can have an aura of a know it all, but it’s quite the opposite. She is intelligent, but far from knowing everything. She is shown to be determined, but her determination is often overpowered by her temper, seeing as she doesn't give up, and is easily put off by rudeness. She doesn’t always see the bright side to things like Oleta. She knows when enough is enough and when to get out of a situation. She quickly deduces the situation and can almost (not always) plan out the whole battle in five ways.

Background: Akiko is the only human in her family of four, and no one knows why. However, regardless of her non Faunus heritage her family raised her just the same. Her parents were both Hunter/Huntress and in the White Fang. Always around her older sister, Akiko learned how to be a sophisticated young lady. She always followed her sister around when she was home from missions. Her sister always read story books to Akiko before bed and Akiko grew fascinated with the different characters and stories. Akiko learned all she knows from her sister teaching her when their parents could not. Her parents had a tutor to teach Akiko when they couldn't. When her family or tutor wasn't around her nose was always inside a book, from fiction to non-fiction she would read anything. Anything and everything kept her interest, her curiosity always getting the best of her. She never questioned why she didn't have ears or a tail, though she really wanted to know. One cold day (around the age of ten/eleven) her father had come home with an expression so gray it made the sky look happy. Akiko was on her knees in tears when her father told her that their mother had been killed by Grimm on the way home. With their mother gone Akiko’s older sister acted in as a mother figure, looking after her more than before. At the age of eleven/twelve Akiko’s sister had gone missing and she was devastated. Akiko started to study more of Grimm, Dust, Aura, and Semblance. Her father found her in the study and asked her what she was doing. She told him that she was studying to become a Huntress. Her father touched her forehead and asked if she had gone mad? She simply giggled and continued to study. After a few months of self-teaching, Akiko asked her father if she could attend Signal Academy. With a heavy heart her father had agreed to let her go, knowing her reasoning and her determination would get her through anything. (May change later)
